Are you a True Believer?Once when discussing matters with Club legend Leith Drew, he mentioned the True Believers. When quizzed on what this meant he said that there was a group of people that truly believed in the Club and what is stood for and would do anything to make the Club a success. He then started to state the members of the group including Robert P McGhee, Oz Williams. This group were significant Club people who wanted Club success…....true Club spirit.So the True Believers Group is born.The Football Club is in a position now where there’s no turning back. The Club is venturing on a journey up the grades of the SAAFL and to do this true Club people are needed to make the Club a success.If you’'re reading this you know you know it.We have a great bunch of players from 2011. Moving up to Div4 and beyond requires the Club to keep these players and acquire some ‘extra’ talent. The True Believers Group is going to contribute solely to acquiring the ‘extra’ talent needed to progress the Club up the grades.Membership of the True Believers Group has an annual fee of $250 for individuals. If a business wants to be involved, we can cater for that as well (contact the Group for details, see below).For an individual, what you get is….2012 True Believers Group membership badgeTwo True Believers Group home game gatherings during the season including beer, wine and BBQ lunch Name on dedicated True Believers Group page on the Club’s website (www.plymptonbulldogs.com.au)Being an integral part of taking this football Club forwardThe True Believers Group will also donate a trophy for the ‘Best Club Man’ in each of the junior grade teams to be presented at the end of the season. These kids are also our future.Be a part of the inaugural True Believers Group and spread the word to others you think want to get involved. Show your passion for the Club, show you want Club success and want to play a part in that success. Being a member means contributing your money to something your heart is in. The BBQ and drinks will be nice twice a year but success in 2012 onwards is what you are contributing to.
