RESPECT

We ask that all players, parents and spectators show respect for themselves and our club by ensuring that the following is adhered to:

~ All players attend game day in their correct uniform and place their belongings neatly in the technical area

~ Observe the rules of the technical area by ensuring spectators are seated at the opposite side of the pitch

~ Attend all games and training sessions or notify the team manager/coach in a timely fashion prior

~ Be on time ~ Behave in appropriate manner toward each other and match officials both at the club and other venues

~ Ensure all rubbish is disposed of appropriately

~ Shake the hand of their team mates, opposition and coaches at the end of games / training.

COACHES

Our coaches teach our players of all age groups from the FFA National Curriculum, and are guided by our Junior Coaching Director.

All of our coaches are volunteers; many coach their own children on their team but others do not have children at the Club and coach for the love of the game, wishing to pass on their enthusiasm, skills and knowledge to the next generation of soccer players. Therefore, it would be appreciated if they are given your support by :

•Encouraging and not criticising,
•Never use foul or abusive language when standing on the touchline at matches
•Never threaten players, other spectators, coaches or match officials.

ABUSE AND/OR BAD BEHAVIOUR TOWARDS OUR COACHES, PLAYERS, PARENTS AND OPPOSITION WILL NOT BE TOLERATED

Everyone has a responsibility to promote high standards of behaviour in soccer to ensure the game can be played in a safe and positive environment. Children’s soccer is an opportunity to develop technical, physical and social skills.

Winning isn’t everything!

REFEREE & LINESMAN COURSES

The Football Federation of South Australia (FFSA) aim to provide a referee to all games from U12 and up, with parents being required to referee all games of age groups U8 – U11 inclusive.

All games for age groups U12 and up also need to provide a linesman for all home games.

The FFSA run courses each year for Club Referee’s (standby ref’s within the club) and Linesman.  Should any parent wish to participate in these courses, the junior soccer club will cover the cost of this course.

If you would like to take up this offer please email us at jsadmin@plymptonbulldogs.com.au.

Our Club is run by volunteers. Each team requires a Coach, Team Manager, Linesperson, Ground Steward, and setting up and taking down of goals.

If you have any time, regardless of how large or small this time may be, your help will be appreciated.

We cannot stress enough that as a club, we cannot function without YOUR support.

We also require a committee of volunteers to run the club.

All teams will be expected to nominate one person to join the committee or take on a particular role throughout the season (i.e. regular bulletin updates, fundraising, organising trophies etc).
